Lis Wiehl, an American writer and legal analyst who was formerly an analyst for Fox News analyst.
She's a professor adjunct of law at New York Law School, as well as an adjunct professor at the University of Washington Law School. The analyst was a lawyer on National Public Radio's show as well as the Radio Factor of Bill O'Reilly. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs Tonight, The Imus morning programs and is the host of The Legal Lis radio show. Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and was a graduate of West Valley High School in Yakima. She completed her studies at Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree in 1983. In 1985, she was awarded the Master of Arts degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she earned an Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She also worked as a NPR legal correspondent. She was the "deputy chief of the investigative team for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. She taught law as a tenured professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle where she managed the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 through 2001. She worked as an analyst for Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
