Bellamy Young
Young began her professional profession as an actor in the theatre. Her Broadway debut in 1997 when she played Mary, the first cast of The Life. In addition, she performed off Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Rolled Along (1994) along with as Randy Newman's Faust (from 1995-96). The actress made her debut on television in the year 1995. She had a recurring part as"Dr. Courtney Evans, NBC's daytime soap show Another World. She appeared in Law & Order as a guest on two episodes during 1997 and 1998. The film debut came in 1999, with one minor part in Black and White. In the following years she appeared in various independent films. In the early 2000s she started appearing as guest-star in a variety of TV comedies and dramas, which included The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Young was a part of more than 30 TV shows between 2000 and 2011. The year 2003 saw Young became one of the regulars on The USA Network show Peacemakers. After the show ran for nine episodes in a season, the show was canceled. The actress played recurring roles on the Lifetime legal drama series For the People as Deputy Dist. Atty. Agnes Hunt in 2002, on NBC historical drama American Dreams as Diane Shaw in 2003, on NBC's Scrubs as the character Dr. Grace Miller in 2004, as an Assistant State Attorney Monica West on CBS's CSI: Miami (2005-06), and also on ABC Primetime soap series Dirty Sexy Money (2008-2009) in the role of Ellen Darling, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Darling family. In addition, she had a frequent part in Criminal Minds as Beth Clemmons from 2011 to 2013
