Alex Flanagan

She has a degree from the University of Arizona and Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, Arizona. She is an anchor/reporter for NFL Network and NBC Sports as well as a sideline reporter in Football Night in America and the home matches in Notre Dame football. Flanagan can be seen and heard in her channel during the Madden 10 or Madden 11 video games, where she hosts an in-game weekly recap show alongside Fran Charles. Alex Flanagan was born in Sonoita Arizona. Her husband is the former University of Arizona basketball player Kevin Flanagan. Both are parents of daughters. Alex's parents are the owners of Arizona steak houses "The Steak Out", located in Sonoita, and Dove Mountain. Flanagan started out in her career as a reporter for news and anchor during her time at college. She was an intern student at KVOA-TV and began covering sports in 1998. She's worked for NBC Sports NFL Network ESPN and Fox Sports. Additionally, she was a Gamma Phi Beta member. Flanagan's first job was in television as a reporter for general assignments and weekend anchor on KCCO-TV Alexandria, Minnesota. In that role, she worked for WSFA-TV Montgomery Alabama.
